Ævar Agnarsson President / CEO Department: Administration Facility: USA Headquarters 190 Enterprise Drive Newport News, VA 23603 757-820-4030 aagnarsson@icelandic.com   Ævar took over as CEO of Icelandic USA on July 1, 2005 following the merger with Samband of Iceland.  Ævar had been appointed CEO of Samband of Iceland in January 2005 when Blue Ice Group acquired the company (previously known as Iceland Seafood) from SIF Group.  Ævar had been with Iceland Seafood from 1996, first as a Purchasing Manager and later as Vice President of Production.  During his years 1988 to 1996 he served as a Product Manager of Meitillinn, a fish processing company in Iceland.  Prior to that Ævar held several positions in product management at Icelandic fish processing plants.
